Mrs. Detonnancourt

Hi! I'm Mrs. Detonnancourt aka Mrs. D. I am the reading and writing teacher for the 5th graders at SFE. I have 3 children and live here in town. My favorite dessert is chocolate fudge brownies and I LOVE country music. My favorite season is the summer where I can paddle board and go to the beach. A fun fact about me is that when I was your age I hated to read! I can't wait to teach you all the different ways you can learn to love reading and become a life long reader.

Hi! I'm Mrs. Venditelli. I am the math teacher at SFE! I have a pet bird named Chase, and we both love to sing! I have been a lifelong fan of NASCAR racing, and a fun fact about me is I could eat my weight in chicken nuggets! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students learn and grow throughout the year. I look forward to working with you!

Hi! I’m Ms. LaFauci, pronounced LaFouchi. As I am sure many of you already know this year I will be teaching 5th grade science and social studies. I have 2 children that are both students at the middle school. One of them was sitting in your seat just last year, a fifth grader at SFE. You can often see me running around town with my miniature goldendoodle, Rory by my side. Something you should know is that I am a sports fanatic! I love all sports, and I coach MS lacrosse and cross country. I love to spend my summers on the beaches of Cape Cod which is where I grew up. One interesting fact about me is I have no sense of smell! I look forward to meeting each of you and learning more about you throughout the year as we learn and grow together.
